A chronicle of the music life of a hard working graduate student in sleepy Davis, CA. There’s a lot of music that I purchase, download, and see live and keeping it all straight is sort of a chore. Hence the advent of this blog to help me keep track of it all and form semi-coherent opinions on what I’m currently listening too or seeing. Throughout the course writing here I hope to keep my opinions honest and slightly humorous(as that’s how I think), but try to avoid the pure snark route(there will still be some of it though). I hope you, the reader, enjoy what you read here in some way or another as I certainly enjoy writing it.
Question: What is up with the name?
Answer: Well that is a very uninteresting story. The short of is that I was home sick from school one day watching Nick Jr., as I was oft’ to do in those heady days, and during the show Franklin the Turtle there was a raccoon on crutches. I made the comment “Hey, that raccoon has scoliosis.” and the rest is history. The misspelling was my fault though and it just stuck.
